"Why Children Say No" - Parent Ed Talk with Todd Sarner

Back by popular demand...Todd Sarner, Director of Transformative Parenting will talk about Transforming Resistence and Definance in children.

Whether they are five or 15, children are naturally inclined to resist and oppose when they feel pressured or controlled. Although the reaction is quite normal and even healthy in certain circumstances, its manifestations and impact can be very frustrating and can make life difficult for parents and teachers. In this morning talk Todd Sarner will present strategies on how to handle this misunderstood and troublesome reaction.

Todd Sarner, MFT, is a Certified Parent Consultant and Educator, Psychotherapist, and Director of Transformative Pareting in Marin and Sonoma Counties. He has worked with children, teens, and their families for over 15 years, and now works almost exclusively with parents. Todd has trained for over 11 years with leading developmental psychologist Dr. Gordon Neufeld.
